AWS

AWS provides customers with hyperscale cloud computing through a portfolio of 240+ services, including infrastructure fundamentals like compute and storage, advanced analytics, machine learning (ML), and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. We work to release new products to customers quickly, then rapidly iterate and improve on those products based on customer feedback. Our continual innovation helps customers maintain state-of-the-art IT infrastructure without having to make recapitalization investments. We augment our services with a range of supporting components, like management tools, networking services, and application augmentation services, with multiple interfaces to AWS application programming interface (API)-based services, including software development kits (SDKs), integrated development environment (IDE) toolkits, and command line tools. AWS currently supports an almost limitless variety of workloads for millions of customers worldwide. Underpinning this entire portfolio, AWS builds our systems with high levels of security and zero trust principles as a default configuration: we secure the underlying infrastructure while providing you with security services and tools to protect your workloads and data. OpenAI and Anthropic recently disclosed that their own agents reached real production systems from inside test environments meant to be sealed. So are agents rogue by nature? The answer is more useful than the headlines, and it changes how you should deploy them. Meanwhile, the real shift is on the attacker’s side: Anthropic’s September 2026 threat report shows sophisticated attacks no longer require sophisticated attackers, with reconnaissance and exploitation delegated to agents at machine speed. This talk covers what genuinely changes when attackers go agentic, where defenders should focus, and two live demos: AWS Security Agents doing autonomous threat modelling, code review and pen testing, and the KiroCrew project’s embedded reviewer agents that audit every change inside the code pipeline before it ships.
